Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said that he is 'really upset' about reports saying he may leave the club for Barcelona in the summer, which he criticised as 'fake news'. Speaking to the media the 41-year-old – who has won an FA Cup and two Community Shields in his time at the Emirates – said he still 'has a lot to do' at Arsenal, with the team challenging for the Premier League title for the second successive season and being in the last 16 of the Champions League for the first time since 2017. He went on to add: 'I love every minute and I get a lot of joy with waking up every morning and knowing that I have to drive to [in] and I'm going spend time with these people.'
