Arsenal remain in talks with Bologna over a move for Riccardo Calafiori but have yet to come to an agreement on the fee for the Italy defender.
Calafiori is understood to have agreed terms for a five-year contract in north London, with Bologna thought to value him at about £42m. But despite hopes that the 22-year-old’s transfer could be completed before Arsenal depart for their pre-season tour to the United States on Sunday, they have not reached a breakthrough in negotiations.
